Feeling inspired....................

I love feeling inspired, although is hasnt happened a lot lately, due to many things (seriously where the hell is Spring!! Come on already!! Enough of winter please??) Today was a good day, we had sunshine (not a lot, but enough) & I spent time with my best friend from school & our children. Then I decided to check Facebook whilst dinner was cooking. Via a link of FB, I found THIS blog. Wow!! Her beautiful art work just pulled me straight in. I actually studied art in college, drawing & painting were my obsession when growing up, although it wained a great deal in my late teens. But lately I've been feeling the urge to paint again. Katie Daisy's work just made me want to forget dinner & grab my watercolours & a canvas & paint something springlike. Unfortunately, my children like their food & I knew they would not be happy going hungry so I could paint. Although maybe a beautiful painting for their room might make them like me again! LOL!! I think I'll use some of her art to inspire me to get back into painting.

Then I saw THIS HOME, & it made me feel happy. Sounds weird doesnt it? But this quote: I love to follow the old rule of having nothing in your house that you don't use often or absolutely love, struck a chord with me. I want this rule to apply in my home, as the clutter is driving me mad. I think spring cleaning will be happening in my home very soon. Out with the unwanted clutter, & I will only have loved, used & wanted items. (Im hoping the family will go along with this, esp. the Husband!!)

No photos today, sorry.

It is what I want to work by too!
