.........Megan got a book for her birthday about Fairy crafts, which included instructions for making a castle out of empty toilet rolls, which we happened to have lots of (saved for a rainy day, which this certainly was!!!!!). Paired with some DST & scrapbook paper, we (I say that loosely as both girls soon got bored with waiting for me to cut & stick everything!) soon created this little beauties! I did the boring bits & the girls decorated them. Lets see how long they last!!!!
I have been working on some hand embroidery, its a great thing to do whilst watching the tv!! Found an artist called Aimee Ray & used some of her designs as inspiration. Thiswas originally planned for the baby, but has been requested to hang in the girls bedroom. Just need to find a nice wooden frame for it.
Not exactly the most perfect stitching, but practice makes perfect eh??????

Wow you have been creative. Love the fairy castle and the papers you have chosen are gorgeous. That embroidery is lovely and the girls will love it in their room xx
