Not quite a failure then.

So, I posted a picture of the quilt that didnt work out as planned in my last post. I dont think the seam allowances were 1/4", they may have been slightly less, plus the fabric frays quite badly, so it turned into a bit of a disaster when chucked in the washing machine. I have a plan to rescue it, when I have the time, but in the meantime:

Keely didnt seem to mind about open seams & dodgy stitching when she was feeling poorly. She just wanted "Mummy's Blanket", which has now become "Keely's Blanket". Maybe it wasnt such a failure after all?
